Urban & Spaces
Once data connected building by building begins to accumulate, the next step is the city. ELSA reads spaces through occupancy, environmental and safety sensors, looks after people who need care, and controls vehicles entering and leaving parking facilities. By linking with the city operating frameworks defined by the public sector, it expands to city-scale operations.
- Smart spaces
- Healthcare & care
- Parking control & mechanical parking
- Smart homes & housing complexes
- Public infrastructure
Building on the data accumulated at building level, we expand by linking with the city operating frameworks defined by the public sector.
The challenge on site
Household smart homes are smart only inside the home and cut off from the complex’s shared facilities. Parking facilities see frequent accidents and a one-dimensional flow in and out, and the condition of households that need care can only be known through in-person visits. With each agency running its own systems, city-level decisions are difficult.
What ELSA does
- Spatial sensor integrationGroups occupancy, environmental and safety sensors by space to read its condition.
- Healthcare & care integrationDetects activity levels and warning signs, and alerts the management office and family members.
- Integrated parking controlConnects mechanical parking systems and parking control to manage entry, exit and incidents in real time.
- Smart home & complex integrationConnects household smart homes with elevator, access and parcel systems to extend everyday services.
- Public platform integrationLinks with municipal and public urban platforms through the ITU-T international standard data model.
Expected benefits
- Expanded everyday servicesConnects services inside and outside the complex as one
- Safety managementDetects risks in spaces, parking and care in real time
- City-scale operationsBrings each agency’s systems into one data model
Detailed applications
Town-scale robot service architecture
A robot’s route does not end at a single building. The outdoor stretch across pedestrian plazas and roads, the indoor stretch through lobbies, homes, shops and underground parking, and the rooftop vertiport all form one route. ELSA connects elevators, automatic doors and access gates through a standard API, linking these segments seamlessly.

Integration architecture for smart buildings, cities and public housing
CCTV, fire alarm panels, household smart homes and access control in the on-site operations center (disaster-prevention control room) converge on ELSA.Edge, while elevators connect directly over the national-standard serial protocol. Through the Open API, the collected data flows on to the cloud-based integrated elevator management platform, delivery robots and UAM vertiports.
