Every facility in the city, connected by ELSA

From vertical transportation to building systems, mobility and urban spaces. Whatever the manufacturer or protocol, ELSA connects every facility the same way, and the same AI monitors, predicts and acts.

Building Systems

The very sites where we connect elevators have a disaster-prevention control room and a management office, each with its own separate HVAC, power, CCTV and fire-safety systems. People watch each system’s screen, make a judgment and operate it by hand. ELSA integrates these systems at the same site into a single control view and data model.

Because control-room and management-office systems are added on top of sites already connected through their elevators, ELSA scales without additional infrastructure.

The challenge on site

Building facilities are still limited to simple status monitoring and piecemeal automatic or manual control. Since 2017, the government has promoted the rationalization of energy use, making energy management systems mandatory for public buildings above a certain floor area. Buildings are long-term assets, used for more than 30 years after design and construction.

What ELSA does

  1. Integrated interlocking control by operation scenarioFacilities respond together, automatically, to access-control events, power-load alarms and fire-emergency scenarios.
  2. 10 facility systems linkedBrings facility control, power/lighting, disaster prevention, access control, CCTV, building guide, public address, elevator control, BEMS and FMS together.
  3. Occupancy-based autonomous HVAC controlSensors measure temperature and confirm occupancy, controlling HVAC equipment automatically over the network.
  4. Real-time energy metering by end useSensors and meters on lighting, heating and cooling, ventilation and outlets monitor consumption by energy source.
  5. Diagnostics, statistics, forecasting and reportingProvides energy-waste diagnosis, trend and comparative analysis, consumption forecasts and sustainability reports.

Expected benefits

  • Energy optimizationCuts waste with occupancy- and schedule-based autonomous control
  • Safety managementAutomatic interlocking between systems on fire or load alarms
  • Lower maintenance costsStructurally reduces the operating costs of long-term assets

Detailed applications

  • HVAC systemsMobile and wireless networks enable 24-hour monitoring even in small and mid-sized buildings. Heating and cooling run automatically by occupancy in offices and by class schedules in classrooms and dormitories.
  • Power · CCTV · Access controlMonitors switchgear and power quality, and shows video and access events together on the control screen.
  • Integrated Disaster Prevention System SILinks existing disaster-prevention equipment without replacing it. When a fire is detected, elevator evacuation operation and control-room alerts follow automatically.
