MTM Tech Partners with Bear Robotics to Expand In-Building Delivery Service Business

On the 25th, MTM Tech (CEO Kim Jin-ki), a company specializing in AIoT technology, announced on the 26th that it has entered into a strategic alliance with Bear Robotics (CEO Ha Jung-woo), an artificial intelligence autonomous robot company, to increase synergies in the in-building delivery service business.

The partnership will connect Bear Robotics' "Service Robot" and MTM Tech's "Elsa Platform," which supports elevator boarding in buildings.

Service robots from BearBotics support a variety of tasks in the restaurant industry, including delivering food and drinks to customers' tables and cleaning. The robots use advanced technologies such as sensors, cameras, and AI to autonomously navigate crowded spaces. Bear Robotics is a company that is leading the new trend of smart mobility in the world with the goal of 'Smart Hospitality' and has decided to make a strategic investment (SI) in MTM Tech.

Since 2021, Bear Robotics and MTM Tech have been collaborating to develop a platform for elevator access for service robots in the food service industry, healthcare, hotels, and retail. With this investment, MTM Tech plans to expand the service area of 'Servi Lift', which was launched by Bear Robotics last year, and target global markets such as the United States, Japan, and Europe in earnest.

MTM Tech has been developing an unmanned delivery service platform since 2020 by applying the smart elevator domain experience accumulated since its establishment and the latest IoT convergence technology.

ELSA Mobility (ELSA.M) is a platform that provides interoperability based on international standards for robots to use elevators, automatic entrances, speed gates, etc. It not only solves the complex connection problems of various manufacturers and models in the field where robots are actually operated, but also has a high level of defense against security problems such as personal information leakage and hacking required in the digital transformation era. MTM Tech's elevator boarding platform is in operation at an office building in Songdo, Incheon, a large apartment complex in Gangdong-gu, Seoul, and a semiconductor component manufacturing site.
