Operation of ‘Elsa’, an elevator solution with advanced AIoT technology

M2MTech News

ELSA is M2MTech (CEO Kim Jin-gi)'s AIoT-based 'connected elevator' platform. It provides ‘online to offline (O2O) service’ by securely connecting users, managers, and owners through remote maintenance. A connected elevator is an elevator with functions such as connectivity (connectivity), security, and AI calling with smart devices and service robots.

AIoT is an intelligent convergence technology that combines artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT). It is a technology that not only connects the product to the Internet to exchange data, but also learns and grows by artificial intelligence.

M2MTech (CEO Kim Jin-gi), which operates the intelligent IoT platform 'Elsa', announced on the 18th that it has started operating the 'AIoT convergence technology (AIoT) solution' for remote elevator maintenance. This solution was advanced and developed through the AI voucher support project of the Information and Communication Industry Promotion Agency.

The AIoT solution developed by M2MTech this time analyzes failures based on AI and recommends faulty parts and necessary materials (parts) so that maintenance engineers can secure necessary materials before dispatch. With this technology, a system is equipped to respond to the on-site dispatch, and when troubleshooting, it provides solutions to similar problems by asking and answering questions with an AI chatbot, reducing repair time and improving work productivity.

M2MTech applied this technology to a large-scale elevator maintenance company and made it possible to use it in the actual field. In addition, by establishing a real-time management system 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, engineers are able to improve their work professionalism by reducing fatigue due to work response and reducing the failure rate through predictive maintenance of elevators. In addition, from the perspective of the building owner or manager, it is possible to reduce the cost of maintaining the life of the elevator and obtain the effect of increasing the value of the building.

Kim Jin-ki, CEO of M2MTech , said, “The network-based hyper-connected society enables mutual communication between all objects, making it possible to create a smart society in which information can be accessed without space and time constraints, but there are many limitations in the actual field. Amidst the ever-changing technological environment and legal system by ecosystem, various manufacturers and models, system complexity creates a high level of technological barrier that makes a hyper-connected society difficult."

CEO Kim said, “M2MTech has solved this problem by connecting with the existing system with the Elsa Bridge function, as well as a global standard-based system structure that meets new technological developments and trends.

He also said, "Based on accumulated technology and know-how, we will develop the latest international standards to meet domestic and overseas market demands, and produce new value-added products using approved technologies." We plan to actively promote early IPO through special listing.”
